Semi-solid timber flooring has a 4mm layer of solid timber, which is attached to a plywood base. Semi-solid flooring is a versatile choice for many rooms in the house as it has the advantage of being floatable (does not have to be nailed down) and is easy to fit. Since it uses less of the solid hardwood, it is more ecologically friendly and cost effective.
